A major tourist route in Co Kerry is expected to remain closed for a considerable period of time following a landslide.

A major tourist route in Co Kerry is expected to remain closed for a considerable period of time following a landslide.

The incident occurred close to the main Slea Head Road at Dunquin yesterday afternoon, causing several large cracks to appear in the road surface.

Tonnes of earth and rock fell into the sea near Dunquin Harbour after around fifty metres of cliff face collapsed.
