Hauliers want re-think on new height restrictions
Hauliers are calling for the Government to reconsider its plans to impose new restrictions on the height of trailers
The majority of trucks on Irish roads are around 4.95m in height, but legislation already in the pipeline would see a shorter limit of 4.65m imposed.
The issue is one of many up for discussion at the annual conference of Irish Road Haulage Association, which gets underway today.
