Two young men killed in Wicklow and Meath crashes

Two men in their 20s have died in separate road accidents in Co Wicklow and Co Meath this morning.

One of the victims died when his vehicle travelled down an embankment near Shelton Abbey in Co Wicklow.

A second man was also injured in the accident, which happened on the Beech Road between Arklow and Avoca.

In Co Meath, meanwhile, a 24-year-old man died when the van he was driving crashed at Kellystown in Slane at around 1.30am.

A passenger in the van was unhurt in the crash.
