Galway councillor hospitalised on eve of prison sentence

The Galway councillor convicted of fraud earlier this year has been hospitalised the day before he was due to begin his prison sentence.

Michael 'Stroke' Fahy was taken by ambulance from his farmhouse in Ardrahan last night after a neighbour called a local GP.
