Another seven men have lost their lives in accidents on Ireland's roads over the weekend.

The most recent victims were two motorcyclists who died following separate collisions with a lorry and a tractor in Co Leitrim and Co Cavan yesterday evening.

Three young men were also killed in a head-on collision between two cars on the Castleisland to Abbeyfeale road in Co Kerry yesterday morning.

On Saturday, a 31-year-old Polish man died when the tractor he was driving overturned in Co Limerick, while a 26-year-old man died when his car collided with another vehicle in Co Tipperary.

The deaths bring the total number killed on Ireland's roads so far this year to 86, compared to 98 in the first three months of 2006.
