100 jobs at risk in former Galtee Meats plant in Cork

Fears are growing for 100 jobs at the former Galtee Meats plant in Mitchelstown, Co Cork.

Staff and union representatives are due to meet management today to discuss the possible outsourcing of some of the company's production.

The plant is part of Reox Holdings, a spin off of Dairygold, which is involved in processing products on the Galtee Meats label.

Bosses have previously denied claims that the jobs are at risk.
