40,000 nurses begin work-to-rule in pursuit of pay claim

Forty thousand nurses across the country are beginning a work-to-rule action today as part of their campaign for improved pay and working conditions.

Members of the Irish Nurses Organisation and the Psychiatric Nurses Association are mounting the action following the failure of a fresh round of negotiations with the Health Service Executive in recent weeks.
