Talks to avert work-to-rule by nurses get underway

A last-ditch attempt to resolve the dispute between nurses and the Health Service Executive over better pay and working conditions has begun at government buildings.

Talks have resumed this afternoon in the hope of averting major disruption at the country's hospitals.
