McDowell faces Dáil fire over rushed criminal bill

The Tánaiste and Minister for Justice has come under intense fire in the Dáil this morning over his plans to rush through the new Criminal Justice Bill in the space of just four days.

The legislation contains 156 amendments which opposition parties say cannot be properly addressed in such a short space of time.
