Survey highlights sharp rise in price of hotel rooms

The cost of a hotel room has risen sharply in Ireland over the past year, according to a survey by the hotels.com website.

The survey found that the highest increase was in Limerick, where the price of the average hotel room rose 21% to €84 per night.
