Motorcyclist dies in Down collision

A motorcyclist has died after he collided with a car on the main Newcastle to Ballynahinch road in Co Down this morning.

The accident happened at around 8am close to the junction with the Ballymaglave Road.

The road was closed to traffic for a time as a result of the crash.
