Drugs found in house search

Gardaí have seized €750,000 worth of cannabis in north Dublin, they said today.

The drugs were found during a planned search of a house at Plunkett Avenue in Finglas last night.

“This 100kg seizure, depending on the results of forensic analysis of the substances seized, may have a street value of up to 750,000 euro,” a garda spokesman said.

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
