President to meet Pope in Vatican

President Mary McAleese is to meet Pope Benedict today during her official visit to the Vatican in Rome.

It will be the third time the President and the Pope have met – previous meetings include the inauguration of Pope Benedict in April 2005 and a private meeting in September of the same year.
