Women over 50 want society to change attitude to ageing

Nine out of ten women over the age of 50 want Irish society to change its views about ageing, according to a survey carried out by the cosmetics manufacturer Dove.

The company says respondents to the survey believe ageing is often hidden rather than celebrated in Ireland and this needs to be reversed.
