Paisley family hoping to make film on life of DUP leader
Ian Paisley's family are looking to film a biopic recounting the life of the outspoken DUP leader and founder the Free Presbyterian church.
North Belfast playwright Gary Mitchell has been commissioned to write a script for the movie, while Dr Paisley's son and fellow politician, Ian junior, will be executive producer.
Mitchell says the biopic will expose Dr Paisley's virtues and vices and local actors will be engaged to play the main roles.
The Paisley family are currently raising money to pay for the production.
