Taoiseach to meet Adams as North deadline draws closer

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is due to meet Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams in Dublin this evening to discuss on-going moves to restore devolution in the North.

The talks come amid continued uncertainty over whether the DUP will agree to share power with republicans by the March 26 deadline laid down by the British government.
