Five rescued as boat runs aground

Five people were rescued from a 34ft vessel that ran aground near Kilgarvin Quay today, at the Northern end of Lough Derg in Co Donegal.

Crew members were safe but frightened as gale force winds blew with squally sleet and snow showers.
