Kerry Gardaí investigate assault on young woman

Gardaí in Ballybunion, Co Kerry are investigating an assault on a young woman in the town last night.

It's understood she was seriously assaulted in the Sandhill Road area at around 2.15am.

The scene was sealed off and examined by Gardaí this morning.

Gardaí in Ballybunion are appealing to anyone who was in the Sandhill Road area between 2-2.30am to contact them.
