Gardaí seek teen following Co Tipperary stabbing

Gardaí are searching for a 17-year-old youth following a stabbing in County Tipperary.

A 25-year-old man underwent emergency surgery at Nenagh General Hospital after being admitted with serious stab wounds.

Officers and emergency services found him at a house on Lacey Avenue in Templemore at around 7.30pm last night following an anonymous call.

Inspector John Lynagh said the man is in stable condition, and they hope the youth they are looking for will be able to shed some light on what happened.
