Multi-lingual online pensions calculator launched

A new multi-lingual online pensions calculator has been launched for immigrants on pensionsboard.ie, with information in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, Polish and Russian.

The Pensions Board says it is concerned that many foreign nationals working in Ireland are not making any provision for their retirement.

The Chief Executive of the Board, Brendan Kennedy said everyone, regardless of where they plan to retire, needs a pension.

"Irrespective of where any of us are going to retire to, we need to make we're saving while we're working," he said.
