FF finalises list of candidates for General Election

Fianna Fáil has chosen the last of its candidates to contest the forthcoming General Election.

106 candidates will run for the party in 43 constituencies. Of that number, 14 are women.

The Party's National Constituencies Committee today selected Margaret Conlon to join Minister of State Brendan Smith to run in the Cavan/Monaghan constituency.

A number of high profile Fianna Fáil TDs are stepping down at the next election. They include Jim Glennon, Judy Wright, Noel Davin, Síle de Valera and Tony Dempsey.
