Gardaí investigate death of man at house in Tipperary

Gardaí in Tipperary are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Roscrea last night.

The 36-year-old was found dead in the kitchen after officers were called to a house in the Newline area at around 11pm.

He had sustained a number of injuries and the scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.

A post mortem will also be carried out, but no further details have been disclosed.
