There were more than double the number of ocean energy devices in some stage of development in 2006 than when figures were last recorded four years ago, according to a new report published today by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI).

There were more than double the number of ocean energy devices in some stage of development in 2006 than when figures were last recorded four years ago, according to a new report published today by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI).

The report, published today at the FP7 Ocean and Wind Technologies EU Conference, was conducted by AEA Energy and Environment on behalf of SEI and the International Energy Agency Ocean Energy Systems (IEA OES) Implementing Agreement.
