Teachers call for more back-up to deal with behavioural problems

Teachers are calling for more back-up to help them deal with behavioural problems among teenagers.

At present, the service which intervenes in violent incidents among students is only available to one-in-ten secondary schools.

But the ASTI claims that many other schools around the country experience problems, and do not receive the support they need.
