Teenager remanded over Luas robbery

A teenage thief, who stole a bag containing €3,000 worth of equipment from a commuter on the Luas, has been remanded on bail pending sentence, by Judge Mary Collins at the Dublin Children’s Court.

A teenage thief, who stole a bag containing €3,000 worth of equipment from a commuter on the Luas, has been remanded on bail pending sentence, by Judge Mary Collins at the Dublin Children’s Court.

Judge Collins remanded the teen on continuing bail until a date in April to let him commence a placement in a residential treatment centre for troubled youths. It is hoped that he will start the placement in the coming weeks.
