Two more arrests over Waterford assault

Gardaí in Waterford have arrested two more people in connection with a serious assault at the weekend.

A man in his 40s remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was found unconscious at William Street in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A local man and woman in their 20s were detained this afternoon.

Another man in his 40s was already being held.
