A new €7.5m health research project could potentially cut heart disease and stroke here by half.

A new €7.5m health research project could potentially cut heart disease and stroke here by half.

The collaboration between University College Dublin and French pharmaceutical company Servier will open a new chronic cardiovascular disease unit in Dublin.

The project will last for up to 14 years and will mainly involve patients in clinical trials.
