Three due in Cork court after halting-site violence
Three men are due before Cork district court this morning in connection with violent disturbances at a halting site yesterday.
It is believed the incidents are connected to the death of 36-year-old William Anthony O'Driscoll who was killed when his car crashed into an embankment on the south link road on Saturday.
He was being pursued by two garda patrol cars at the time.
It is believed violence broke out when gardaí called to a halting site at Glanmire to inform relatives of Mr O Driscoll's death.
