Gardaí seek witnesses to Galway attack

Gardaí in Galway have launched an investigation in to what they are describing as a "serious sexual assault".

It happened in a house in the College Road area of Galway city in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

Gardaí say they would like to hear from the driver of a large black taxi who carried a male passenger from the area to The Green in Galway at around 4.30am that morning.

They would also like the passenger to make contact, as well as anyone who may have seen anything suspicious.
