Kilkenny couple collect €8.5m Lotto winnings

A young married Kilkenny couple collected their Lotto winnings of over €8.5m today.

The winners have lived in Kilkenny for 20 years and have a young family.

They purchased their €4 quick pick for Wednesday night's draw at their local Statoil garage on the Castlecomer Road.

The couple celebrated the news of their massive win by having dinner and a bottle of wine last night.

They said they intended to invest the money in property, share it with their families and do some travelling.
