Attack victim's inquest delayed by ongoing murder probe

A garda murder probe is ongoing into the death of a 21-year-old man who was discovered severely beaten in Dublin city, an inquest heard today.

Eddie McCabe, a father-of-one from Rafters Lane in Drimnagh died in St James’s Hospital on December 8 last – a week after he was found badly beaten in a laneway off Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, on December 1st.
