Investigation underway following Kerry bridge collapse

An investigation is underway in Co Kerry after a bridge collapsed, causing a container to fall into the water, drowning a number of animals.

The incident happened before lunchtime at Lixnaw in north Kerry, when a truck carrying animals was travelling across the bridge at Ballinagar.
