Teenager killed in car accident

A teenager died tonight after he was struck by a car in Co Wicklow.

The 15-year-old was attempting to cross the N11 road south of the Old Connaught Junction in Bray when the incident occurred.

The road is currently closed between Fassaroe and the Wilford Road Junction to facilitate the accident investigation.

Any witnesses are asked to contact Bray Garda Station.
