Stadium plan 'would ruin Belfast's last green space'

Proposals to build a multi-sports stadium in east Belfast would obliterate one of the last green lungs of the city, opponents of the plan were warned tonight.

Edwin Poots said planners would never allow a 25,000-seater development at Ormeau Park ahead of the Government’s proposed site near Lisburn.
