Man killed in Cork road accident

A man in his 20s is dead following a road accident in Co Cork.

The pedestrian was hit by a car on the main Cork to Macroom Road at Ballincollig.

The accident happened at around 10.30pm last night.

He is the second person to die on the roads so far this weekend.
