Weather hampers renewed search for fishermen
The search for the bodies of seven fishermen missing off the south-east coast is continuing amid adverse weather conditions today.
Organisers of the operation say they do not expect the weather to be good enough to allow divers to reach the wreck of the Pere Charles to search for the remains of its five-man crew.
However, conditions are expected to improve tomorrow, allowing for a full-scale search of the wreck by navy divers.
Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to locate the site where the Honeydew II went down, claiming the lives of two of its four crew members.
Both vessels sank amid heavy storms last week off Hook Head and Mine Head.
