Bishop of Connor to take over as Church of Ireland Primate

The Bishop of Connor has been elected Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, it was announced this afternoon.

The Rt Reverend Alan Harper will take over from Robin Eames on February 2.

The 62-year-old is a married man with four children and one grandchild.
