Gardaí probe overnight shooting in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a shooting incident on the northside of the Dublin city last night.

A shot was fired at the front door of a house at Riverside Drive in Clonshaugh at around 10pm.

The house was occupied at the time, but nobody was injured.

It is believed the culprit ran from the scene to a nearby park, where he was picked up by a car.

A technical examination was carried out this morning and gardaí at Coolock are continuing to investigate the incident.
