Man due in court on post office robbery and kidnap charges

A man will appear at a special court sitting in Omagh later this morning, charged in connection with the robbery of a post office and the kidnapping of two women last year.

A substantial amount of money was taken during the raid in Strabane, Co Tyrone on October 9 last.

Two employees of the post office were kidnapped prior to the robbery.

The 21-year-old is facing charges of imprisonment, kidnapping, hijacking and armed robbery.
