Increasing amount of Irish emigrants in trouble
A growing number of Irish people are emigrating to the UK in vulnerable circumstances, according to migrant support groups.
Out of 17,000 people who left the country to work abroad last year, between three or four hundred were escaping trouble.
The Irish Immigrant Advice Centre said increasing numbers are going to Britain to get away from domestic violence, broken homes, addiction problems, homelessness, drug dealers and sometimes death threats.
