Gardaí speak to mother of deceased Kilkenny girl

Gardaí have spoken to the mother of a Kilkenny school girl who was found dead in her home in November.

The body of 16-year-old Ciara Gibbs was discovered by her father and brother at their house in Killure.

The girls mother - Doctor Lynne Hutchinson - was found unconscious in an upstairs bedroom of the house.

She is now being treated at Saint Patrick's Hospital in Dublin.

The gardaí have confirmed they have now spoken to her about the incident, but they are not releasing any more information at this time.
