Man’s body recovered from Foyle

Police in the North are investigating the death of a man whose body was recovered from the River Foyle in Derry earlier today.

The remains were spotted near Craigavon Bridge and brought ashore by a search and rescue team at around midday.

The dead man has yet to be formally identified.

A post mortem is due to be carried out to determine the cause of his death.
