Gardaí waiting to interview mother of dead Kilkenny teenager

Gardaí investigating the death of Kilkenny teenager Ciara Gibbs are still awaiting medical clearance to interview her mother.

It is one month today since the 16-year-old was found dead at her home near Goresbridge.

Ciara's mother was found in an unconscious state near her daughter’s body on the morning of Sunday, November 26.

She is still being treated in hospital.
