Financial watchdog urges ATM vigilance

New research shows that people are becoming more aware of the risks of financial fraud.

Figures released by the financial watchdog shows almost 70% of people cover the screen or keypad when entering their pin at an ATM or in a shop.

However, one in 20 people continue to put themselves at risk by not taking simple precautions.

Spokeswoman for IFSRA is Sharon Donnery said even though the majority of people protect their pin, it is important for everyone to be "extra cautious", especially at this time of year.
