Murdered woman's daughter seeks information from public

The daughter of a woman murdered near Portlaoise 13 years ago is appealing for information from the public on the anniversary of her disappearance.

Thirty-five-year-old Marie Kilmartin went missing after a Christmas party on December 15, 1993.

Six months later, her strangled body was found concealed in a bog drain on the Laois-Offaly border.

Ms Kilmartin's daughter, Aine, has set up a special website - www.imom1512.com - in her bid to find information that might help trace the killer.

She is also handing out leaflets in Portlaoise today as part of her search for justice.
