Public views sought on ways to tackle North's house prices

The British government is seeking views from people in the North on how to tackle the spiralling cost of housing.

Recent figures show that prices in some areas have risen by more than 65% in the past 12 months and London says there is now a serious lack of decent, affordable housing in the North.
