Teenager seriously assaulted in North

In the North, a 17-year-old is being treated for head and hand injuries following a serious assault in County Antrim in the early hours of this morning.

Police said the teenager was set upon by up to six people, in the Granville Drive area of Ballymena, shortly before 4am.
