130 new jobs for west Cork
Infrastructure group SWS has announced 130 new jobs at its business process outsourcing (BPO) division.
The announcement of the 70 full-time and 60 part-time jobs coincided with the official opening of the group’s new 16,400 square foot BPO facility in Clonakilty in west Cork by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheál Martin.
The group’s BPO division provides a range of back-office services to a number of organisations including the Department of Agriculture, Kerry Group, Bank of Ireland and the Personal Injuries Assessment Board.
BPO currently employs 250 people and this is expected to grow significantly in the next few years.
The expansion at SWS follows a number of new contract wins including Topaz Energy, An Bord Bia, The London Independent and The Belfast Telegraph.
The SWS group won the Cork Company of the Year this year.
