Greener Homes Scheme extended

The popular Greener Homes Scheme, whereby homeowners can apply for grants to help them make their homes more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly, has been extended in Budget 2007.

Minister for Finance Brian Cowen said there had been 10,000 applications so far under the scheme, and that an additional €20m would be allocated to it between now and 2009.
