Employment rate among women hits 60%

The proportion of women entering the workforce has reached record levels, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The CSO says the employment rate among women was 60.3% in the third quarter of this year, the first time it has ever exceeded the 60% mark.
